LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT LAW
Employees in New York enjoy the protections of federal, state and local laws. We represent employees with a variety of claims, be it sexual harassment, discrimination, hostile work environment, or unpaid overtime and other wage violations. EDUCATION LAW
We are the premier education law attorneys in New York City. As former union attorneys, we are well-versed in the nuances that comprise New York Education Law and collective bargaining agreement. We represent teachers and administrators in a variety of forums, including PERB, 3020-a defense, and federal actions against school districts.
ADMINISTRATIVE LAW
In addition to our extensive education law experience, we actively represent other government and administrative employees in actions against the city and state, including Article 78 special proceedings, arbitrations, grievances, and civil service hearings.
CIVIL RIGHTS LAW/
SECTION 1983
First Amendment Law is one of the most rapidly developing areas of civil rights litigation, and we are on the front lines. We have represented numerous city employees in First Amendment retaliation and other Section 1983 actions against the city.

BRYAN D. GLASS
Partner
Bryan D. Glass, has practiced for a number of years in labor and employment, municipal, civil rights, and education law in both the public and private sectors. He has a wealth of litigation experience in federal and state courts, as well as before arbitrators and administrative agencies.

Mr. Glass is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, as well as the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of New York, and Second Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as federal courts including SDNY, EDNY, NDNY, District of New Jersey, and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.

He also won exonerations for several teachers in Section 3020-a disciplinary proceedings, and has had numerous successful resolutions of matters on behalf of educators and public and private sector employees with municipalities, school districts, and other employers.

Bryan is also a certified high school baseball umpire and basketball referee.
MICHAEL DONNELLY
Associate
Michael Donnelly originally joined the Law Firm in 2020 as a law clerk while attending Seton Hall University School of Law. While in law school, Mike worked at the Seton Hall Law Center for Social Justice in the Civil Litigation and Practice Clinic, where he handled a variety of civil cases including landlord-tenant matters as well as other housing-related civil matters.
Mike joined the Law Firm full-time in July 2023. He has counseled and advocated for public and private sector employees regarding a variety of labor and employment law issues. His representation includes matters before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, New York State Division of Human Rights, New York Public Employment Relations Board, National Labor Relations Board, New York State Department of Labor, and other administrative tribunals. Mike also has assisted in filing claims in federal and state court on behalf of employees with regard to discrimination, retaliation, and hostile work environment claims.
Before law school, Mike attended the University of Scranton where he captained the Men’s Soccer team and received his B.S. in Biology. He also has played semi-professional soccer for two organizations competing in the National Premier Soccer League.
JOHN HOGROGIAN
Partner
John Hogrogian, practices law primarily in the appellate courts of the State of New York. He is a 1979 graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law. He is admitted to practice in New York, Connecticut, and the District of Columbia.
